VINNIE JONES WAS THE JEWEL IN THE CROWN AT BGNFS

The Deacon Jones by Crown Floors collection took centre stage at this year’s Buying Groups’ National Flooring Show, helped by an appearance from Vinnie Jones himself.

Arguably the most talked about residential carpet launch in recent years, the Deacon Jones by Crown Floors collection took centre stage at this year’s Buying Groups’ National Flooring Show, helped by an appearance from Vinnie Jones himself.

While buying group members were treated to new additions to the Crown Floors stable, along with new point-of-sale (POS) updates and the first reveal of the new website to enhance Crown Floors’ online presence, it was the appearance of famous footballer and Hollywood hardman Vinnie Jones that set the scene for the exciting two-day event in Solihull.

Geert Vanden Bossche, Marketing Director at Balta Group, explained: “We were delighted when Vinnie accepted our invitation to this year’s Buying Groups’ National Flooring Show.  While we were confident that the versatility in both performance credentials and design bank would have ensured Deacon Jones by Crown Floors was a star attraction at the show anyway, having Vinnie attend was the icing on the cake.

“His presence drew significant crowds to our stand on the Tuesday afternoon and with it even more interest in the new Crown Floors addition.”

Also on show at this year’s West Midlands event was the brand new Crown Floors website, an intuitive web portal that presents all of Crown’s latest underfoot styles in the most intuitive of fashions. Customers can define their carpet search by shade, pattern or fibre, through a service which is backed by a bank of inspirational lifestyle photography and free sample request facility. They can also attain hints and tips from the new-and-improved Crown Floors blog, while finding their nearest retailer and learning about carpet care through the site’s handy support section.
