After receiving a Certificate of Excellence from B&Q Homefit for his exceptional service levels, Quick-Step Master Installer, Nigel Bawn, has once again received recognition from the DIY retail chain for recording the highest survey-to-sale rate of all fitters that work for the Homefit scheme.

Recording an outstanding 75% conversion rate, Nigel has proved that delivering excellence through every aspect of business has a positive impact on improving profitability. In fact, such is Nigel’s expertise that he also proudly bears Which? approved status.

Nigel said: “I’m really delighted to have secured yet more recognition from the team at B&Q Homefit as it is testament to my belief that, in a way, quality will always sell itself.

“Just like plumbers and electricians, flooring installers require specialist knowledge and an attention to detail to ensure a first rate finish. However, unlike the plumbing and electricity industries we do not have strict regulations, so I’ve worked hard to ensure that consumers have complete confidence and reassurance that my work is of the highest quality.”

Nigel now also works for the Academy for Excellence in Flooring, bringing his experience to a new generation of installers keen to hone their skills with the Master Installer training course.
